At Taylor's Longarm, we love all aspects of sewing, especially making quilts, but know there are never enough hours in the day to complete them! With our fully computerised Statler by Gammill machine, we can have your quilt completed in no time at all, leaving you free to get started on your next quilty project...

As quilting addicts ourselves, we know how tricky it can be to finish your work on a standard machine, but our state of the art machine can complete beautiful, intricate patterns with ease.
Perhaps you may like to quilt your project by hand, but find the layering up process difficult? Our machine can layer up and baste your quilt, ready for you to finish at leisure.

Visit us in our purpose-built sewing studio, for a full consultation. With a wide range of designs and threads to choose from, we can help you choose the perfect finishing touches for your quilt. We stock a selection of quality waddings, available at an additional charge.
Can't get to us? No problem! We are happy to provide a phone consultation service and receive/return your quilt via postal or courier service.

Trimming up any loose threads on the back of the quilt will prevent them showing through and spoiling your finished look.

Backing fabrics should be (ideally) 4 inches bigger than your quilt all the way around. Please square off your backing fabric. Trim selvedge before joining and press seams open.

If your quilt is directional, please pin a label on, to clearly mark the top of the design. Please make sure you have removed all other pins - the machine will not like them!
